Opus Performing Arts is a dance and music school in downtown Bellingham WA offering classes in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, and Irish dance for ages 4 though adult.

Opus Performing Arts is a dance and music school in downtown Bellingham WA offering classes in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, and Irish dance for ages 4 though adult. Our Music Playground classes are a creative music and movement program for preschoolers and toddlers. We also offer a variety of summer programs including the Ballet Bootcamp summer intensive and several dance camps.

Opus Performing Arts was started by a small group of parents in the Bellingham area who wanted to provide an excellent dance and music experience based on a multidisciplinary curriculum.

In talking with people in the community and from our own observations, we found that, though there were talented individuals here and there in our beautiful community, there lacked an organized effort to foster cooperation amongst these individuals. Opus is a place where these artists/professionals can come together in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration to teach youths and adults and guide them professionally along their path to developing in the performing arts. Our programs are taught by a variety of professionals who enrich the education of young developing artists. We host master classes at our studio by professionals in the field both locally and internationally. And of course, there are opportunities to perform.
