My grandparents had hired Ace Construction to redo our siding 9 months ago. At that time, they gave the owner of Ace, Mike Archambault, a $9,000 down payment with the promise that he'd start in October of 2014. He had not began wrapping our house until early April of this year. After the 3-4 days he spent wrapping our house, he began ignore our calls. A month later, he asked for $4,300 more for building materials (which the down payment was meant to cover). After we refused, he has been absolutely unreachable- purposely ignoring our calls and messages. Right now, the outside wood is ROTTING due to Mike Archambault's poor wrap job and untimely manor. He has taken my grandparent's hard earned $9,000 and disappeared, after damaging the outside wood of the house. Ace Construction primarily operates in Anoka County and is based out of Andover, MN. He does work around the metro area as well as Saint Cloud. I know two other people that have had this same man do the same thing to them. They use down payments from one job to finish the next, so if they don't have another job in line, you're out of luck. Please don't make the same mistake we have and avoid Ace Construction and Mike Archambault at all cost. If you want a reliable, honest, and credible company, don't hire Ace. Don't let this company steal from you and destroy your home.
