Established in 1880, Argenta Drug Co. is the oldest continuously operating pharmacy west of the Mississippi River. It is housed in the oldest brick building in North Little Rock. Until 2006, a vintage classic Coca-Cola ad was painted on the 4th Street side of the building, but has since been restored. We are located in the Argenta Historic District. When you step in to the drugstore, you step back in time. Little has changed since the 1950's, as we sport vintage apothecary wallpaper, the original pressed tin ceiling and hand-laid tile flooring. Renovations happen slowly, a little bit at a time but what is not slow is our service. We know your time is valuable and we strive to get you in and out quickly - often in 10 minutes or less!
