Lived here for 16 months only because my brother lived here. Otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. These buildings were never maintained. My brothers wife said the owner ( now deceased) maintained it. Got news for you. NO. I had a 2 br on middle floor. Started out at $865 and was going to be $890 in March. They sent me this letter notifying me of rent increase even though they knew I was moving/already gave notice. Incompetence is putting it mildly. No grass-just weeds. Do not shovel or plow snow. Have to put in repair requests multiple times to get anything done right. My front door was so out of shape the wind would blow through. One guy put in insulation-could hardly open or close door. When they came to do apartment checks, they removed it! I called and said you removed what YOU put in. Had to have them fix door lock 3 times. They say it was built in the 70's but they used 1960 door knobs, thermostat ( with mercury), bath tile floor ( my parents had it in 1963). Told me my entire apt was wood floors. The BR were plywood squares, DR & LR were carpeted. Isn't that backwards? The windows open about 18 inches and are 31 inches wide-no air circulation. I melted. Lady bugs and bees getting in somehow through the windows. No cell signal since they are brick. Here is the kicker $400 deposit. I got $100 back! No they did not spend $300 on repairs. I took pix and video. Now I have to call and fight with them. Would be worth the drive to get my $2-300 back. What a rip off. Watch out for Susan-clueless dingbat. Didn't know if the heat was gas or electric! Isn't that your job to know?Sharon is MEAN.
