Gerald C. McDevitt is an expert in the field of collision reconstruction and forensic mapping. He has reconstructed or assisted in the reconstruction of over 350 fatal traffic collisions with Total Station technology including 3D animation for incidents involving airplanes, commercial vehicles, marine craft, bomb blasts, motorcycles, pedestrians and bicycles. He has investigated an estimated 500 plus serious injury collisions and over 3000 minor vehicle collisions. He assisted the ATF national response team in forensically mapping the Charleston Sofa Super Store fire that claimed the lives of 9 Charleston firefighters. His courtroom experience includes fifteen years of municipal, county, state and federal testimony and has been recognized as an expert in the fields of accident reconstru
