Southern Orthopedic Spine Care is a private practice facility in the Northwest Oklahoma City area dedicated to offering personalized and comprehensive spine care.

We specialize in all areas of spine care including nonsurgical and surgical treatments, and we pride ourselves on individual attention to each patient. Our goal is to work as a partner with our patients to provide them with education and understanding of their unique spine problem.

E. Alexander L’Heureux Jr, MD, FACS, the principle spine surgeon at Southern Orthopedic Spine Care, is a fellowship trained spine surgeon located in the metropolitan Oklahoma City area. He has been performing exclusively, scoliosis and spine surgery for the last 20 years. After completing medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, Dr. L'Heureux completed his residency in Orthopedic surgery at New York Medical College. Dr. L'Heureux was then accepted into the prestigious spine surgery fellowship program at Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he trained under the guidance of 10 internationally famous spine surgeons.

At Southern Orthopedic Spine Care we believe in providing patients with the most modern and comprehensive spine care available. This involves working closely with each patient on an individual basis to accurately evaluate, diagnose, and make treatment recommendations based on the patient’s individual needs. Dr. L’Heureux performs a wide variety of surgical and nonsurgical spinal procedures involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions of the spine.
