Mr McMullen dropped a door installation job for my mother without giving her any good reason, except “too many jobs & too much going back and forth,” The work order was contracted through Lowe’s Wesel Blvd Hagerstown location. All of the materials are here ready to be installed by him, as a matter of fact he delivered them and set up the date, August 27, arrival between 8-9, but did not show up and cancelled at the last minute. Lowe’s has been very apologetic, but this contractor’s reliability must be seriously compromised. Also, my mother has been ill recently, and I come from out of town to help her with keeping up with appointments and house repairs. Additionally, my sister came from California to help my mother finalizing this order with Lowe’s and my brother helped remind my mother that McMullen would be coming to install the door. When I called to confirm the appt last week, Mr McMullen did not return the call. Instead, he left it to Lowe’s to apologize and refund my mother all the installation fees which were paid in advance in 2 months ago. I would not recommend this contractor, period. Now, we are stuck with a door and pile of lumber and no installer.
