To live in freedom, to work in a prosperous land, to obey the commandments of God. Therefore; in order to build a better nation. We, the people of Haiti, are compelled to "Declare Independence" from this system; and proclaim that a commitment to the renewal of the "Haitian Spirit" is imminent.
