I am doing this so others will not come out of his office crying like I did. I hired him to help me sell my apartment. He never wrote an agreement for me to sign and know what to expect. He quoted me a fee of $1200. HE NEVER MET WITH ME TILL THE DAY OF THE CLOSING. He allowed me to sign a contract with buyers who weren't ready to buy for another 6 months and so I lost a lot of money because in the meantime I found buyers who wanted to pay more but I just had to wait for 6 months. He wasn't ready for the closing so I lost money paying interest, maintenance and other taxes for an empty house. At the closing he changed his fee from $1200 to $1856

When I asked why he said he had expenses that I wanted him to itemize. He could only itemize the affidavit which he charged me $250 for and $6 for the post office. But he got very angry with me and started screaming and calling me names and told me to leave his office. I couldn't leave his office because he had to give me a check for about $110,000 . When he was able to print for me the paperwork with everything that I had to pay and what had to be paid to me, he refused to explain it to me and requested to be paid by the hour. I left his office crying uncontrollably. I will complain to the NY Board.
