I myself was a pharmacy tech for years, however five years ago had to quit do to illness. About six months ago I went in for an RX only to be told there out of med and unable to stock. I transferred all of my meds to another Pharmacy. In the mean time I spoke with several other pharaohs that I had worked at and was told there was no reason they did not stock the med, including another rite Aid in another town. So now I have an issue with my shoulder and have an RX that I took in yesterday because my pharmacy is closed on Sundays and am told out of med can't get it. In my opinion I feel as if this is unethical and discriminative. That is ironic to me that they are the only pharmacy that is unable to stock and dispense this medication. I don't feel that a pharmacy should pick and choose which medications they will fill and the ones they won't. I have filed a complaint with rite aid Corporation, and I'm also filing a complaint with the State Board of Pharmacy.
