Business description

Salmon Berry Tours specializes in day tours, multi-day packages, and adventure tours in Alaska. Any custom tour can be created!

Our favorite summer tour is the Glacier Turn - this one is PACKED with adventure and you don't even have to get up early! Starting at 11am we visit Girdwood for lunch at our favorite Bake Shop, then up the Alyeska Tramway, then the Portage Glacier Cruise, and the Alaska WIldlife Conservation Center. All this is fully guided and all-inclusive with photo stops, snacks & bottled water, and personal attention. All of our tours are small-group so no huge crowds - yay!The favorite in winter is of course dog sledding - so fun!! Happy healthy dogs pull you through woods and meadows on a real wooden dog sled - you even get to try standing on the runners! We visit with real mushers and learn about their crazy woodsy lives and what it's like for life to revolve around something to unique.
