Our unique approach to learning has proven beneficial with many of our graduating students entering kindergarten with a head start. In an effort to ensure all our childrens' learning styles and needs are addressed we combine three different approaches to teaching.Our three teaching styles include the Montessori Method, Reggio Emilia, and a traditional approach. The Montessori Method of education is characterized by emphasizing the child's participation in self-directed activities along with daily observation by teachers. This approach stresses the importance of adapting the child's learning environment to his or her developmental level. The role of physical activity in the child's mastery of abstract concepts and learning practical skills is also emphasized.
