Mr. Coy Dayton started in the HVAC business at a very young age, riding with his father helping him repair air conditioning and heating units. As soon as he was old enough to obtain his driver’s license he was performing service work on his own. Coy obtained an Associate of Science degree in HVAC. He then obtained a Masters License in HVAC at the age of 21 (this was by far the youngest that anyone had obtained a Master’s HVAC License in the State of Texas at the time). He then went to work at the University of Texas in the HVAC department until 1991 when he decided to open his own company. He started the company by contacting the customers one at a time that he used to service while working for his father. They all knew him and respected the work that he had done for them in the past (his father had retired from HVAC work). Dayton Air Conditioning and Heating was literally built one customer at a time through hard work, dedication, honesty, and good craftsmanship.

Since then, thousands of satisfied homeowners throughout the Austin and San Antonio areas have relied on Dayton A/C and Heating for over 20 years to service, repair, and install energy-efficient heating and cooling systems for their families.
