A professionally prepared Mitigation Report addresses your personal mitigating factors. It can make the difference in the defendant receiving a reduced sentence. The Mitigation Statement, or commonly referred to as an “Alternative pre sentence Report” is a document that presents the defendant as a person, not just another defendant. The pre sentence report will not identify these characteristic that will do this for you.
