A Servant's Heart is a nondenominational, Christian 501(c)3 public charity that coordinates public and private agencies and organizations, as well as churches to assist the homeless and disadvantaged of LaSalle County, Illinois. It was formed to provide crisis intervention to the homeless and disadvantaged with the guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ to merge appropriate individuals and organizations to fill resource needs. The ministry also operates a Community (Soup) Kitchen, providing meals M-Fr. 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at 1116 Illinois Street, Ottawa, IL. All services are provided free of charge. A resale shop located at 2735 Columbus, Ottawa, IL provides funds for the ministry's administrative costs. It accepts donations of gently used items.
