Instruction in a Korean style martial arts Tang Soo Do

Instruction in Tang Soo Do, a Korean style Martial Arts introduced to the United States by Chuck Norris in the 1960s. Chief Instructor (Sah Bom Nim) Istvan Burgyan, was introduced to this system while being assigned to a Naval Special Ops unit stationed out of Norfolk, VA. in 1974 - 1977. Istvan Burgyan has opened and been instructing at Academy of Martial Arts in the Bay City since 1981; training students as young as 5yrs old and as old as 65 yrs Old. His students have included local Police, lawyers, County Sheriffs and Texas DPS. Istvan Burgyan trained thousands of Soldiers, to include in Combatives, as a US Army Drill Sergeant and later achieved the rank of Command Sergeant Major with the US Army on multiple activations from the US Army Reserves through the years of 1990 - 2010.
