Acorn Counseling LLC was founded in 2007 by Kim and Jim Staneluis to provide psychotherapy to 3 to 10 year old children, and their parents. Children suffer from many of the same problems as adults. They do not have the developed skills to handle them. Acorn Counseling LLC speaks the language of children through play therapy, and by utilization of Child-Parent Relationship Therapy help parents improve their effectiveness. Acorn Counseling LLC is also concerned with typical problems adults have in coping with their lives, such as, anxiety, depression, and stress. We have helped many people with adult attention deficit disorder, and bipolar disorder. For some adults, addictions are issues.
