I consult in the field of electronics, provide breadboarding services for electronic products, including suggesting and critique of circuit designs.

Design circuits and systems for mainly consumer electronics. There also is experience in designing test equipment for circuits and systems. The designs are with microprocessors, preferably using 8080 code. The preferred microprocessors currently are Philips LPC (low pin count) series. These 14 to 20 pin devices are very reasonably priced and have many features desirable in microprocessor products. I can encode them using assembly language code for time critical applications. I use "C" for non critical applications. I recently developed an RF application using an encoding chip for a transmitter and a receiver that decoded the signal with the microprocessor. The encoding for the signal was determined by the transmitter and automatically found by the receiver.
