We assist African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees in accessing health care and social services. we also have obesity program for children age 6-

AFAHO is a very unique Organization, with 501c status founded in 2003 by an African Woman Tiguida Kaba. For a personal reason, founder focus on health care access and social services. Wrong diet can also created a chronic health problem among immigrants Nutrition program in place. Due to a new environment, AF-CA immigrants tend to change their diet. living in the US . we educate children from age 8-12 and their caregivers about healthy nutrition. Keep their own countries food, eat American food by making good choices. We offer counseling with the collaboration of Palm Solution and University of Pennsylvania hospital. Job fair, Monthly health education workshop, annual Health forum, and annual fundraiser eschedule for December 2, 2011.
