I'm an AHA BLS Instructor.
I offer 2 different classes, both earn a 2 year AHA certification upon completion. 1.) Heartsaver CPR/AED- for anyone who wants or needs basic cpr/aed skills-sitters,daycare, trainers, social, family, police, etc...takes 2 hours and only cost $30 (class, supplies and certification card). or 2.) BLS(basic life support) for Healthcare providers- MD,NP,PA,RN,LPN, Nurse students, emts, MA's, ST's, CNA's, etc..takes 4 hours and cost is only $40. Classes cover Adult, Child and Infant.
