Welcome to Al's Diving /diving4less. San Diego has been our home for many years. With well over 4000 hours of dive time since 1983 I have been diving a long time, 26 years in the Navy as a Rescue Swimmer, and a Naval Air crewman, While on detachment in Australia getting Open water certified was not only fun but seemed to be the right thing to do instantly I knew that I wanted to Teach diving. Retiring from the Navy I decided that I would work towards getting certified as a PADI Dive instructor. I Became a Certified in October 2005 as a PADI Dive Instructor. People ask me why I like to teach my answer to that is watching the eye's of my students when they take that first breath underwater. I teach because I love it, there should be no other reason a Instructor teaches, it's because we love
