Informed Athlete (www.informedathlete.com) helps families of student-athletes who have the skills to compete at the collegiate level but often struggle through the recruiting or transfer process. We educate, advise and assist families of high school and college student-athletes on issues related to athletic recruiting, academic eligibility, transfer issues and financial aid rules so that they can make informed decisions that are in their best interest. Rick was in charge of NCAA compliance at 2 major universities for 20+ years and has consulted with athletic compliance departments for the past 4 years. In addition, he has personal experience as parent of a student-athlete who played college baseball for 4 years.
