I help parents who are struggling in their relationship with a grown child. If your adult child has an addiction to alcohol or drugs, is financially irresponsible or treating you abusively, supportive counseling can help you make some basic changes that will ultimately benefit both of you. Loving parents with the best of intentions can sometimes unwittingly contribute to their child's problems by engaging in rescuing behaviors or by failing to set and enforce clear boundaries. Regardless of how long this pattern has been going on, it is never too late to begin enforcing healthy boundaries with your child. This can be a difficult and painful step but a necessary one. It is never too late for your child to become a responsible and independent adult! I can help you make that happen.
