The Art Framers has been a family-owned frame shop since 1961 when Richard Robischon opened it as The Blue Door in southeast Denver. His son, Jim Robischon has owned the business since 1976 and it is currently run by the master framer Paul Opsahl. The Art Framers moved to LoDo in 1990. The frame shop is now at 1734 Wazee St. Free parking is available next door at Robischon Gallery (1740 Wazee) a short ½ block away.
