Artisan Properties was founded in 2001 out of a desire to be able to provide a very personalized service to both buyers and sellers of real estate in the Asheville, NC area, which we found is much easier to accomplish in a small, privately-owned real estate agency. "Artisan" was chosen as the company name to honor the craftsmen who hand-built Asheville with quality, character and charm...from the first cabins to the stately Biltmore Estate. We admire the legacy quality leaves for generations and it's what we look for when assisting buyers. Having bought and restored historic homes as well as new custom homes, we have a keen eye toward the best quality that can be bought in any price range.
