Auto Technicians is a family business, founded and managed by Paul Newcomb since 1980. Paul's experience and interest in repair began as a student during a shop class at Rule High School. Paul Worked at several service stations before going into business himself. Paul arrived at the current location on North Gay street in 1980, which was previously a Buick dealership. From 1984 to 2004 Paul taught a non credit course for the University Of Tennessee on car maintenance. In 1986, wife Judy Newcomb, a graduate of UT, took charge of managing book keeping and scheduling appointments.
