Dr. Avron Lipschitz is a Johns Hopkins trained board certified plastic surgeon serving the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach communities. His unique practice is based on his refined aesthetic acumen, advanced surgical techniques and compassionate care. Plastic surgery is both an art and a science and Dr. Lipschitz believes that natural and long-lasting results can only be achieved through surgical expertise and a dedicated, life-long passion to the art and science of plastic surgery. Dr. Lipschitz has an international medical background and has traveled across the world to obtain the best surgical education. He earned his medical degree at the University of Cape Town Medical School in South Africa, site of the world’s first heart transplant. His passion for all aspects of plastic surgery is clearly evident in his surgical results and academic contributions. Dr. Lipschitz’s dedication to the advancement of plastic surgery is demonstrated by the numerous articles and book chapters he has authored. He is considered a leader in the field. His work has been presented at many plastic surgery conferences, including the Plastic Surgery Research Council, American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His active research in the field of plastic surgery has earned awards from such prestigious organizations as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Lipschitz served on the editorial board of Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery, a scientific review read throughout the world. Few plastic surgeons in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast area have contributed as extensively to plastic surgery literature. After his residency, Dr. Lipschitz and his family had many relocation options, but fell in love with South Florida after visiting the area during his fellowship.
