About Backwoods Kick born in Appalachia region of the Ohio River is a gourmet food company. Mission To produce the best quality salsa, and other homem

Backwoods Kick was founded by Rich Smith & Sheila Woodyard in the Appalachia region of the Ohio River . Rich and Sheila started their adventure as SnR Produce And Snacks in Alligator Jacks Flea Market. First selling local grown produce then moving on to include Amish made products. Then as the company grew they realized a great deal of waste was being produced by their booth in apple 2nd's. Refusing to let good food go to waste Rich decided he would bring out an old trait he learned as a boy. Days later in September of 2013 he canned his first jars of Apple Butter. Overnight people was raving about his cooking skills and fortunately he didn't stop there! After establishing the apple butter they've went on to creating their own Salsa's with their unique blends of seasonings.
