My family and I started this website because there is a lack of interest in the Las Vegas community outside the strip. Most advertising involves events happening at the casinos on the strip. There are more events in Las Vegas that brings out culture which is much more fulfiling. This newsource is for anyone who wants to become involved or know what happens "beyond the strip" in Las Vegas. As a local myself I don't hate the strip but I don't usually feel like going down there. Most locals I know stay in their own neighborhoods and this website is dedicated to keeping in touch with that community. I am open to anyone who has ideas or events they want to get other people to learn about.
