Transforming children's perspective to insure their future success, through one to one mentoring. Volunteers and donors have huge impact.

Children who are living in poverty and in a fractured family are at high risk for staying in poverty and social problems such as high school dropout. Throught the attention of a volunteer Big Brother or Big Sister mentor, the child begins to realize her or his own potential, leading to: ~ Improved Academic attitudes ~ Improved Academic performance ~ Improved sense of the future ~ Less likely to initiate drugs and alcohol ~ More likely to graduate from high school ~ More likely to graduate from a 4 year college ~ Improved school attendance ~ Less likely to use violence to solve conflicts ~Improved relationships with family and other adults. Donors and volunteers contribute to the transforming change in the children's lives. Everyone in our community can help in some way.
