Big Walker Lookout consists of an Observation Tower, Craft and Gift Shop, Ice Cream Parlor and Live Craft Demonstrations on weekends all summer long.

Big Walker Lookout is the scenic overlook of the Big Walker Mountain National Forest Scenic Byway that runs on US-52 between exit 47 and exit 52 of I-77 between Wytheville and Bland, VA. Crooked Road venue with free bluegrass music every weekend all summer long. Beautiful views from the mountain top and if you climb the 100ft observation tower you have a 360 degree panorama of the mountains and valleys of Virginia. On weekends all summer, craft demonstrations or live mountain music is presented on the front porch of the BW Country Store. The fudge shop and ice cream parlor will satisfy your appetite created by that fresh mountain air. Hiking trails and the beauty of western Virginia surround and sooth the body and soul. A peaceful and pleasant stop on your trip, business or vacation.
