Blake Building founder Peter Bennett always knew he wanted to turn his passion for home renovation and architecture into more than just a hobby. In 1993, he took his experience as a contractor and architect and co-founded Samter Homes in Tampa, Florida. For nearly 20 years, Samter has successfully built hundreds of townhomes and multi-family units throughout Tampa Bay, while also building a solid reputation of quality and integrity. In 2009, Bennett saw an increase in residential renovations and new home building and created Blake Building, a new division of Samter geared to the changing home marketplace. With a goal to be Tampa's premier home renovation contractor, Blake Building focuses on home renovation, restoration and new home construction.
