Procella is based on the research of Dr. Johanna Budwig. Dr. Budwig is widely regarded as a leading authority on fats and oils. Her groundbreaking research demonstrated the impact of "good" and "bad" fats on the body. Dr. Budwig's studies showed that the blood drawn from ill patients-many of whom had cancer-had low levels of omega essential fatty acids ("EFA"). These studies have been documented through various publications globally. Bodygenex's Procella is the first product of its kind that hydrates the cell with the full spectrum of EFAs. Our Total Response System ("TRS") utilizes the body's natural response mechanism to facilitate effective absorption of EFAs into the cells of the body. Many people try to increase their EFA levels by consuming EFA-rich flaxseed oil in a liquid or capsule form. Unfortunately, studies have shown that such delivery systems are largely ineffective primarily because oils are not water soluble. Our bodies, which are made up of 75% water, simply cannot completely or readily absorb them. Procella's unique patent-pending formula allows the body to easily and effectively absorb EFAs. It uses flaxseed oil and cottage cheese powder for the purpose of direct emulsification. When appropriate ratios of these substances are combined, the flaxseed oil and cottage cheese powder work synergistically. The flaxseed oil's lipids bind to the rich protein molecules of the cottage cheese. The oil then becomes water soluble and thereby readily available for absorption by the body. The final component of this amazing formula is wheatgrass powder. Wheatgrass, which contains significant levels of chlorophyll, helps increase oxygen levels in our blood. It also contains the mega-enzymes superoxide dismutase and PD41. These mega-enzymes fight off free radicals and work in harmony with our TRS. Procella may be used as part of a larger preventive care program and/or in aiding and nourishing cell membranes that have been clogged or damaged due to unhealthy lifestyle choices, poor diets, and the consumption of saturated and processed fats.
