The Independent Order Brith Sholom (Hebrew: "Covenant of Peace") is a Jewish fraternal organization, principally active in the early 20th Century.

The Independent Order Brith Sholom (Hebrew: "Covenant of Peace") is a Jewish fraternal organization, principally active in the early 20th Century. It was founded in 1905 as a fraternal organization and was headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to the Jewish Communal Register of New York City, 1917-1918, in that year, Brith Sholom had 378 lodges nationwide that included 52,596 members, and had 88 lodges in New York City alone, including 15,000 members. The Order was founded February 1905 in Philadelphia PA by forty-four men of faith and vision who were determined to create through the instrumentality of Brith Sholom, an opportunity ti untegrate into the American scene the thousands of new Jewish immifrants who were escaping persecution in Eastern Europe.
