Brown Powers, PLLC, is located in Petoskey, Michigan, a resort community situated along Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay; however, we represent clients throughout the state and work with out-of-state counsel often for representation of our seasonal residents. We focus our practice on real estate matters of all kinds, simple and complex business matters, including formation, general counsel matters, sales, purchases, workouts, and other business-related issues. We also handle a lot of appeals from the lower courts and tribunals to the Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, and the US Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, Brown Powers handles estate planning and probate and trust administration, as well as service as special counsel to local units of government.
