Unacceptable service

DO NOT GO THERE !!! Predatory customer service. Unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. You will end up paying a few times more than whatever troubleshooting/deposit amount the salesgirl will mention you.

Burlap and Landscape Supply Co representative Laura stated they will perform a troubleshooting procedure which will simply cost $20; if anything additional is required they will contact me FIRST. There was no paperwork to sign and I did not receive a receipt.

The shop does not have necessary equipment. She asked me to bring my battery. This is where I started to doubt the integrity of the store.

She mentioned that if replacement part is necessary she will call me back for additional charges. The whole interaction the representative seemed bothered and not friendly, almost raising her voice when I was asking simple questions.

A few days passed and Laura called stating my nail gun was ready and I can pick it up. She did not mention anything about additional charges. Once I arrived she stated I owed them another $42 and if I didn’t pay that I had to leave. I explained to her that no one ever called me and I did not agree to these charges. She simply said this is for the “labor”, I completely understand but you cannot charge me for something you have not disclosed to me!

I told her that this is not how it supposes to be and she should call me first for approval on additional charges but she said that I did not understand her and she asked me to leave the store. She not only asked she yelled at me. I am not a first person she did that according to the reviews in Google.com, yelp.com and dozen other websites. She said that I have to leave immediately and she will give me nothing. I have never seen anything like this in mine entire life!

I paid for one hour labor and she told me that problem was stacked piston. In order to do that the mechanic has to unscrew 7 screws and three bolts and disconnect the light connector. Then inspect the piston and oil the parts if it is necessary. I did this procedure in 15 minutes with a power tool and for 20 minutes with regular screwdriver. I can do it again if there are any doubts. According to the saleswoman there is a skilled man who has a good experience and he does it for … one hour.
