Established in 1873, The Burroughs-Ross-Colville Company is a fixture in McMinnville, Tennessee. Just 2 blocks off of the Court Square, our steam whistle still marks the time for residents in the downtown area. In it's early days, BRC was a manufacturer of wagon spokes and tool handles. Later, the company began making hardwood spokes for Ford Motor Company. When Ford invented the steel wheel, we began specializing in hickory striking tool handles. Today we still manufacture handles for hammers, axes, picks, sledge hammers, hatchets and more. Our handles are still top quality hand crafted, much the way they have been for decades. In addition, BRC manufactures hardwood parts for upholstered furniture, hardwood bark landscape mulch and heat treated export pallets.
