I am an MFT Intern working at Windows of Hope Counseling Center. I provide low cost affordable individual and couples counseling in both Sacramento and Roseville. While I am finishing my pre-licensing training, I am charging sliding scale rates that begin as low as $30/session. Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you.Individual CounselingI work with clients struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional reactivity, interpersonal difficulties, and other issues that prevent people from flourishing and truly being the person they know they can be. An important part of our time together will be to explore your childhood memories and piece together how you got to where you are now. We will also spend time exploring your emotional world. The goal will be for you to have your emotions work for you, rather than against you. We will also tend to your interpersonal styles. Problematic encounters with people will be explored with the goal being to discover areas in which you can get what you want out of your relationships.Couples Counseling With couples I use a dual approach. We work on strengthening the foundations of your relationship using the seven principles developed by John Gottman. At the same time we begin working on conflict resolution using Imago techniques. You will find that over time, as your relationship foundation improves, your conflicts will become easier to resolve. Looking forward to working with you.
