Business description
We work with building and facility owners to take advantage of federal tax benefits linked to the design and construction of energy efficient building
The federal government provides substantial tax deductions for commercial property owners who used energy efficient systems in the design and construction of their buildings. Up to $1.80 per square foot can be claimed. The certification needs to be completed by a qualified, none affiliated engineering resource. This is part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and is spelled out in IRS Notice 179d. My company has been performing the certification service throughout the country starting when the law went into effect in 2006. We have secured millions of dollars in tax deductions for our clients that include commercial property owners and designers of public use buildings when there is no tax paying entity. The government allows a pass-through of the deduction to the designer.
