The inventory is a product of Casey Wallers selective taste from over 60 trips to Central Asia in the 70's and 80's; and to Iran (Persia) , and Turkey from the 90's to present, where he selected his choice favorites from thousands Kilims, Carpets, Sumakhs, and dowry pieces for the home. CaravanSerai is not limited to rugs; we also carry Armenian textiles, Lakai talismanic shields, Kaitag cradle covers, African dance masks and Kuba textile art, plus an extensive array of Central Asian dowry jewelry and collectibles from Northern Afghanistan and the Amu Darya.
