Business description

Alterations - hemming/mending/zippers New custom made projects - Aprons, pillows, dresses, draperies, baby comforters. Contact us with your ideas.

My name is Carolyn. As a child growing up in a wonderful christian family I was given the nick name of Carrie. My grandmother who started the name of Carrie also taught me how to sew at the age of 14. She was skilled seamstress and a after retirement had a sewing business out of her home.A few years ago I had the desire to start my own alterations business. Thus it only made sense to go back to my family for input. This is how the business name "Carrie's Creations & Alterations" came into place. I have enjoyed a lifetime of making clothes for myself and family, home decorations including curtains, drapes, roman shades, table linens, doll clothing, simple quilts, bridesmaid dresses, Halloween costumes, etc. Many thanks to my family, friends and clients who have provided me support.
