Cartier Optical Inc. is the oldest retail optical establishment in Old Saybrook, serving the area for more than 37 years. We are an independent store run by Cartiers. Your eyewear is processed on the premises, by licensed opticians, which gives us total quality control. Cartier Optical was started in Old Saybrook on the corner of Main Street and Route 1 by Ernest Cartier Sr. in 1972. His son, Ernie Jr. joined Cartier's in 1976. Pam Cartier has been with Cartier Optical since 1983. You will always find the same familiar faces at Cartier's. Cartier's is a full service optical establishment which offers eye exams by our independent optometrist, Dr. Ross Zeldes. You will not be screened by a technician. Dr. Zeldes performs the entire eye exam, which includes a complete vision
