After staring a successful home remolding business, Mike Chapman and Jim Redcliff, along with their highly skilled business development partner Mark Chapman, found themselves consistently faced with lackluster service while making purchases. Together in 1994, they decided to open a new business to better service the residential building materials market for the general retail buying public. Jim, Mike and Mark all felt that there was a good opportunity to design a business that fulfilled homeowners’ needs for qualified, educated and experienced building material distribution professionals.
