In 1978, Jay Goltz founded Artists Frame Service with the belief that picture framing could be done better. His business grew providing custom framing for artists and homeowners, as well as interior designers and corporations. He soon realized that businesses and designers needed a more comprehensive source for artwork. Chicago Art Source was born out of the desire to better serve this professional community. By hiring corporate and residential art consultants with art and design degrees, providing award winning customer service and sourcing artwork from around the world, Jay built what has become the largest art and custom framing business in the country.
