Chicago Deferred Exchange Company (CDEC) is one of the nation's oldest and largest providers of Qualified Intermediary and Exchange Accommodation.

IRC Section 1031 Tax-deferred Exchanges are our only business. Our core team has been together more than 15 years. We have received several Private Letter Rulings from the IRS that are beneficial to our clients. A separate Qualified Trust account is created for every client on every transaction. Funds held in trust, for the benefit of our clients, are segregated from creditors claims by operation of law. CDEC uses only professionally managed, highly liquid institutional money market funds rated AA or better and all interest accrues to our clients accounts. We offer complimentary CLE and CPE presentations to our clients and business partners
