We bought a house 10 years ago that this "builder" built. We call it the house that the leftovers built. Every time we do another project, we find where he skimped and must have paid someone to get away with it. The newest thing is that we are having work done, and when the reputable contractor cut a hole in the outside wall, it was discovered that there is NO insulation. NONE. Not a smidge of insulation on an outside wall. This is on top of : wrong drywall in a bathroom; Drywall under the entry way tile instead of cement board; Improperly vented bathroom fans; Improper support beams in the basement; Regular cement used under tiles in a upstairs bathroom. Every time we have someone come in to our house to do work, they ask who built the house, because this or that is completely wrong. When we tell them Chris Mark Builders, the variety of contractors reply "OHHHHHH", as in, yeah, we have heard they made a lot of mistakes. The only upside is that we have learned a few things for when we buy our next house, the main one being don't buy anything that was even looked at sideways by Chris Mark Builders.
