Drama Filled Church With Scandals and Cheating

If you enjoy the drama, back-stabbing, torrid love affairs and scandal of everyday soap operas, you will LOVE it here. Pastor George Dosher - a sexy, fifty-something man- is married to an uptight, stiff, plain woman reminiscent of a school marm from days long gone. She still rocks the same outdated hairstyle that was popular in the 70's. Rumors have it that George has been having an affair for the past year with a sexy redhead he met online. But let's be honest- who can blame him? His marriage is reportedly sexless and he has been miserable for years. And on the very rare occasion he DOES get to have relations with his wife, it is just in the plain missionary position with no foreplay, romance or change of position. Ms. Dosher won't allow it. No wonder poor George has sought attention elsewhere. He is neglected by his wife, who for all intents and purposes is just a roommate, or who, as George has been heard to say, is "the most unromantic woman ever". But, of course, he stays with her out of obligation and for appearances sake. Hey, a man has to do what a man has to do. Adding to the cast of characters is the the group of church elders. Ever heard the old saying, "too many cooks spoil the broth"? Well, that is the case here. This group of power-hungry ne'er do-wells won't let poor Pastor George run his congregation as he sees fit. Most in the group nit-pick at any changes he'd like to bring to the church. Heaven forbid if he tries to bring in a new program or current Christian music into the services. You would think he crucified Christ himself by listening to the way the elders speak about him. Want still MORE drama? Meet the church congregation which consists of griping old busy bodies who criticize church happenings and changes. These people will no doubt be the death of the church. They want things to stay the same old way, and if something changes, well damn it all to hell! This church would do quite well for itself if it ever was featured as the basis for a reality show. The drama, gossip and bitchiness lends itself to everything a good soap opera is made of. Hope to see you soon for more excitement than you can probably handle!
