I recommend you do not do business with this compa

I recommend that you do not do business with this man or his company. You do so at your peril. I purchased a heater from him. He installed it. He installed the heater incorrectly. He attached it wrong to the filter, he had the flow intake traveling to the outtake and outtake to the intake. I had DE going into the pool. The DE was not flowing through the filter, it was being sent back into the pool. I had another pool service over. He recognized the issue immediately. The hookup was installed in wrong direction. I bring it to "Bob's" attention. He challenges me, says I'm lying there is no way it's hooked up wrong. He comes over and guess what, it's hooked up wrong. He admits it and agrees to fix it and will clean the pool too. Says one of his employees installed it and he's taking personal responsibility for it. By the way, he absolutely trashed his employee, saying he was going to fire him. My wife and I said that wasn't really necessary, we just wanted the problem fixed. IT"S HIS COMPANY. Based on my information from the other pool service, the flow going in the wrong direction can damage both the heater and filter. "Bob" says he'll check everything, the filters and if they're damaged, he'll replace them and I will pay for parts. He says he'll show me the parts. Of course, he says he replaced them, but, I never saw them. At this point in time, the 3rd week in June, I'm unable to use the pool because it's filled with DE sand. When he corrects the flow problem, he says he replaced the broken filters [caused by the improper flow problem], but, rather than my paying for them, he will call it even if I clean the pool. I capitulate and clean the pool. It took several days because of the dirt buildup and back wash, considering the filter was not connected properly. I advised the pool service I had consulted of these events and he said I was crazy, "Bob" should have been responsible for fixing the problem, covering the parts and cleaning the pool because HE CAUSED IT! I just wanted the pool to be swimmable. So, this morning we notice there's no chlorinator to put in the chlorine tablets. I ask "Bob" where the chlorinator is because of the new system. He tells me I told him I did't use it so he removed it. Think of it if you have a pool. Would you remove the chlorinator? I have a 35,000 gallon pool. He said I told him I only use the floater, so he took it out. WE WANTED THE REPAIR DONE and put back the way it was. Does that sound unreasonable? The local pool supply store today says there's no way a pool this size should be without a chlorinator and "Bob" should know better. After all, he said he's an "expert." The conversation he claims I had with him, never took place We agree that he's going to fix it, with better parts. Tonight, Sunday night, he tells me he's not doing it and to find another service. Nice guy, July 1st, hottest week of the year upcoming. I will get the problem solved and intend to hold him responsible. Based on the above, you determine whether he's truthful, honorable and forthcoming. Thinks he did me the favor, when HE CAUSED THE PROBLEM.
