Community Health Charities is a federation of 24 health agencies with strong, locally-based programs, which support awareness and medical research, benefiting everyone, and patient services that directly serve over two million Kentuckians every year. Community Health Charities of Kentucky is the only federation of health charities in the Commonwealth and the largest in the nation. It was established in 1983 at the request of the health organizations it represents. Community Health Charities helps build cultures of charitable giving, community involvement and a commitment to health and wellness in the workplace. Through employee charitable giving campaigns, the organization raises funds on behalf of its member agencies for medical research, public education and patient support services.
