However, Mary Tyre, owner of Consignment Corner for 33 years has been a recycler long before it was fashionable. Having pioneered consignment in Dade County and taught Pinecrest to recycle for over 3 decades, you will be dealing with the best in the business when you shop or cosign with Consignment Corner. The store was established in 1975. Mary & her Mother, Marion bought it in 1980. It was a small 750 sq. ft. store dealing with only children's clothing. Marion retired in 1996 and Mary's adopted son, Manuel, who came from Guatemala, took over as manager. The store has been in the same location since inception and has grown into a 5,000 sq. foot shoppers dream under his management and his invaluable service to our Spanish clientele. We boast a full line of clothing & shoes for the entire family. Many items are such designers as Fendi, Chanel, Gucci, Dior, Prada, St. John, etc. Good quality furniture, household decor, collectible glass such as Lalique, Waterford, Rosenthal, Lladro, etc. Jewelry real & costume.
